Capstone: plan

Pick your project and plan it.

Your summit push

Three days left! Your capstone is a project that uses everything you've learned. Today you plan, tomorrow you build, and on Day 60 you polish and celebrate. We'll build a habit tracker together — then you can make it your own.

How developers plan

  • One sentence: what does it do, and for whom?
  • Features: the smallest useful version first (an "MVP").
  • Data: what will you store? Sketch it as objects and arrays.
  • Screens: what's on the page? Which events change things?
const plan = {
  sentence: "Track daily habits and see streaks.",
  features: ["add a habit", "tick it off today", "show streaks", "remember after refresh"],
  data: [
    { name: "Read 10 pages", days: ["2026-10-01", "2026-10-02"] },
  ],
};
console.log(plan.features.length + " features planned");

Ideas for your own version later: a reading log, a pocket-money tracker, a quiz about your village, a recipe box.
